Pretoro is a beautiful village made up of a cluster of stone buildings perched on top of a green hill. As you explore the streets, you will come across beautiful religious buildings, including the church of Sant'Andrea Apostolo with its peculiar floor that adapts to the shape of the rock.

No less important are the church of San Nicola, also known as the church of San Domenico, and the church of the Madonna della Mazza or Santa Maria della Mazza. This small village is famous for its craftsmen, skilled in working with wood and stone. These are crafts that have been perfected here for generations.
