The Riserva Naturale Pineta Dannunziana is a beautiful nature reserve located in the southern part of Pescara and is named after Gabriele D'Annunzio, as you may have guessed. You will find extensive pine forests, but also lots of wild flowers and shrubs, making it a true Valhalla for nature lovers. Especially because there are also many different bird species, but also small mammals and reptiles.

The nature reserve also has numerous walking and cycling trails, as well as picnic areas, making it an ideal day out.
